Fall Sports Series- Soccer

Here’s my last fall sports look- soccer.  Soccer can be just as cold as football, maybe wet and miserable.  Or it can be absolutely perfect.  Come prepared.  Many times once you’re on the soccer fields, you are chillier than you are normally.  Lots of layers with this look, including a team color jacket and tshirt.  The terrain is often times rough so tennies are helpful.  It could also be buggy- keep that in mind when choosing what to cover up in.  I also included a hat to keep out the sun or rain.  And don’t forget your chair!

I hope you enjoyed some fall sports looks.  Just because it’s a sporting event doesn’t mean you need to look like you’re one of the players!  Wear something a little out of the “school spirit” box!

Fall Sports Series- Football

Football season can get a little…chilly.  So it’s best to be prepared.  This outfit has lots of layers for watching your player in even the worse conditions.  Here I’ve paired a team winter coat with a cape in your school colors. Remember that anything in your teams colors works as spirit clothes!  (Did you notice the maroon jeans?) The two combined work just like a blanket and yet so much more stylish than actually having to wear the blanket.  Don’t forget warm gloves and a cute hat.  You’re going to need it!  And this look also has some cute little boots with fringe!  Cute and functional.  Tomorrow, soccer!!Fall Sports Series- Football

Fall Sports Series- Volleyball

The great thing about volleyball is… it’s indoors!  So if it’s hot or cold or raining, no worries.  And there are no bugs!  Here’s an outfit with a few layers incase you go from hot to cold in the gym.  Take your simple school shirt and add a fun little duster in your school’s colors.  Add a little interest with a fun headband and toss the tennies!  Add a little more sass by wearing a pair of cute booties!Fall Sports Series- Volleyball

Fall Sports Series- Cross Country

After recently celebrating homecoming, it had me in the mood to do another round of “what to wear to my child’s sporting event” for fall sports.  I’ve put together a series for all the fall sports I could think of and while some of them are your traditional “school pride” shirt, not all of them are what you would expect.
Try to think outside the box as much as possible.  Just because it is a sporting event doesn’t mean you have to scream frump or dress like your mom (unless of course your mother is fashionable).
This outfit is for cross country.  And it’s as close to basic as I’m going to go.  But for this sport, you might be running across a golf course or a field to see your star runner.  So comfy but cute sneakers are a must.  These little trainers by New Balance are everywhere this season.  They come in lots of different colors too.  Who knows what kind of weather you’ll encounter so have on some layers, including something to keep your ears warm.
For another look, stop back tomorrow!Fall Sports Series- Cross Country
